Revise paste EM Operational: Why was an EDU link built?

When links are requested, the EM team will use various strategies at their discretion to earn high-quality links. These were regular links that were ordered and we changed them to the Edu type when we went to build them! Sometimes we will choose to pursue Edu sponsorships in lieu of regular links if we come across a great opportunity because they offer unique exposure and can drive relevant traffic by featuring the client's brand as a supporter of relevant organizations in their community and/or industry. Benefits of these types of links include:

- Diversifying their backlink profile with alternative custom links
- Gaining brand recognition by sponsoring a student organization
- Providing the opportunity for industry exposure and new contacts
- Offering the potential for further sponsorship benefits and exposure

Edu links are a unique service that contributes to an organic, diversified link strategy and long-term wins for your client, but if you would like to opt out of Edu links in the future for any reason, just let me know!
