```Hello from We are the SpeeDons Review team. For context: we are active members of the speedrunning community. Within SpeeDons, we are responsible for collecting applications, analyzing the proposed runs, and creating the marathon schedule, and have done so since its inception. This message follows the statement from Doctors of the World on January 13th. The issues raised in the Mediapart article published in November 2025 immediately concerned us. They do not reflect the values of human respect, inclusivity, and equality to which the team is committed. We contacted the SpeeDons organizers (MV & Guillaume) as soon as this article was published to express our concerns about the values upheld by Doctors of the World. We also asked them for transparent communication, with us and with the SpeeDons audience. We were deeply disappointed by the lack of official communication until the publication of the open letter from the Speedonnons Mieux collective. This disappointment was compounded by the content of Doctors of the World's response on January 13th. We are aware of its impact on the community and wish to address this issue, particularly regarding the application period that was scheduled to open this evening. Beyond our involvement with SpeedDons, we are first and foremost passionate individuals committed to speedrunning and various associations and collectives. For the past six years, we have dedicated our energy, passion, and commitment to the event, while ensuring our values are reflected in the planning. We aim to present an inclusive marathon that celebrates the diversity of the Francophone community, while guaranteeing the respect and well-being of all participants in a safe environment. Committed to continuing our work without compromising our values, we have decided to postpone the opening of applications for the 2026 edition to a later date. We expect joint, transparent communication from the organizers and Doctors of the World that will restore confidence in the association and reaffirm the values we wish to uphold. We will get back to you as soon as we have more details to share. Thank you for your understanding.
