the senssirion  sensor eval kit EK-H2 works in Linux.
available sensors are: sht11, sht15, sht75

9600 baud flowCtrl=none parity=none data bits =8 stop bits=1
typed help and it dumped a command list.
commands appear to not be case sensitive

Linus Torvalds Evidently wrote a kernel driver for direct sensor integration via gpio
if you want to use the sensors without the evaluation kit.
