What edits are they trying to make to the press release? Is there a way they can provide us with a list of dos and don'ts that we can follow for future ones?

We do not control the platform, so we can't give editing access to the clients.

We also don't want to permit editing to them before they go live. There are 2 reasons for this:
1. Just like our other EM services, it slows the team down with their projects
2. The main reason is that we have the language in the press releases worded very specifically in order to optimize for AI. The press release strategy is very carefully curated to target the AI question. Changes to the press release may inhibit the way it is seeded in LLMs.
